Monthly Meetings:
Chicago FUDG will meet Tuesday the 13th of June 2017 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at WeWork, 332 S Michigan 9th Floor, Chicago

When: Chicago FUDG normally meets on the second Tuesday of even numbered months (except December), unless it collides with a major event. The meeting room is normally accessible at about 5:15 PM; presentation starts at shortly after our 'business chatter' and introductions at 5:30.
Where: At WeWork, 332 S Michigan 9th Floor, Chicago, (exact room to be announced for each meeting). Reasonable (~$10) parking is available within two blocks, and it's a very short walk from Metra's VanBuren Street station on the Electric District.
Our Next Meeting :: Tuesday, 13 June 2017
A special treat this month: Greg Green has contributed a class to VFPx which allows us to read and write sophisticated spreadsheets to the latest versions of Excel. I'm sure that you, like many VFP developers, have faced the frustration of your FoxPro applications only being able to read and write to the ancient XLS file format - well, Greg's tool brings you right up to date!

Greg Green developed the XLSXWorkbook class in VFP which allows reading and creating XLSX based files. The class is developed in 100% VFP code with no other file dependencies (this is a goal of the class).

Join us on TUESDAY June 13 at 5:30 pm; please RSVP using the Eventbrite link on our home page: http://www.ChicagoFUDG.com.
Our dues structure: now $10 per meeting (pre-pay using the Eventbrite link, or at the door).

Our meeting location: See above

Save the date for the following CFUDG meeting :: TUESDAY, 13 June 2017 Speaker and topic T.B.D.

Most always on the Second Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm. We hope to see you there!
Dues are $10 at each meeting -- your first one is free.

As always, all reasonable ideas accepted. It's a community -- indomitable. Our group has become a veritable hot house of ideas, approaches, and techniques. Striding into the future, ready and eager to tackle any new challenges. Our watchword is "NEVER STOP LEARNING". It's a great life. Come to the meeting.

Bring your own brainstorms, questions, job leads, speculations, and tips. Good time guaranteed. Challenge yourself to be among the best in the business! If you have any VFP questions you are welcome to bring them up at a VFP Q&A.

After the presentation you are welcome to bring to the attention of the attendees VFP programmers available and VFP programming positions available.

Join FUDG. After just one meeting you will be able to realize your limitless potential as a programmer. (Seriously the more you learn, the more you earn.) New skills await those of us who are willing to be amazed and become even more productive. FUDG: the best user group ever, anywhere.
