If you fail this test after moderate studying and have over three years experience as a consultant or programmer/analyst, then someone should take you out and shoot you to put you out of your misery.
Practice is the key.
It made a huge difference being comfortable with the format and having thought in some detail about the types of answers required.
The format wasn't quite the same as the practice tests - it was more like 5 of the practice tests one after the other. There were two case study-type sections (with 4-6 questions in each), followed by about 8 multiple choice questions (not linked to a case study) and then another couple of case study sections.
All in all, there was heaps of time - total of 180 minutes and I was out in 60. Each section is timed individually, but I didn't come close to running out of time in any of them.
I stuck to the "read the all section of the case study first" theory and that served well. It meant that I had a good overview of the problem before I read the questions and could hone in on the right answer pretty quickly.
