Larry Miller has been in the computer industry since 1988. He started out installing and configuring Novell networks and migrated to developing network applications to run on them. Larry has successfully designed, written and implemented office automation, electronic mail and telecommunications applications using FoxBASE+, FoxPro and Visual FoxPro.
He worked with Drew Speedie from 1997 to 2000 and continues to work with Visual Maxframe Professional. He made several contributions (both concepts and code) to version 4.0 and 5.0 during that time.
He received his MCSD (Visual FoxPro and SQL Server) in 2000 and was a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional from October 2000 to September 2003.
In 2001, he started with ARINC, a telecommunications company based in Annapolis, MD, working on a Visual FoxPro, Visual Maxframe Professional and Web Connect project with DavidFolk using Oracle as the backend. The end result was a project management system that interfaced with the corporate accounting system that gives PLs and PMs the ability to track and forecast cost and revenue for over 10,000 projects company-wide.
In 2004, Visual FoxPro took a back seat for him when he took on the responsibility as team leader for the ARINC Data Warehousing project, also in Oracle. The previous lead retired.
