Visual Foxpro developers worldwide are developing impressive modern desktop and internet business solutions. Yet Visual FoxPro receives little recognition from the developer community at large, nor does it receive much attention from Microsoft representatives who, on balance, are woefully misinformed about Visual FoxPro. This letter argues that more aggressive promotion of Visual Foxpro, both within Microsoft and to the development community at large, makes abundant sense for Microsoft. Here's why.
