Referencing Vfp Help From Wiki

Namespace: WIN_COM_API

Linking the Wiki to specific VFP Help file topics

For example:

C:\ example
Stuff()

C:\ VFP 6.0 example:
Stuff()

D:\ example
Stuff()

K:\ example
Stuff()

The following are examples of what help file URLs look like (extra spaces at the front of the open and close tags are to avoid Wiki parsing):
 C:\ VFP 6.0 example:
< a href="mk:@MSITStore:c:\program%20files\microsoft%20visual%20studio\msdn98\98vs\1033\foxhelp.chm::/html/lngstufflp_rp.htm">Stuff()< /a>

C:\ example
< a href="mk:@MSITStore:c:\program%20files\microsoft%20visual%20foxpro%207\foxhelp.chm::/html/lngstufflp_rp.htm">Stuff()< /a>

D:\ example
< a href="mk:@MSITStore:d:\program%20files\microsoft%20visual%20foxpro%207\foxhelp.chm::/html/lngstufflp_rp.htm">Stuff()< /a>

The VFP Help File topics have a URL associated with them that is available by right-clicking on the topic's page, or on a link to the topic.
Notes:

Is there a way to refer to the drive generically? -- Nancy Folsom

If the VFP location was stored in a wiki cookie the links could be built using a syntax like: VFPHELP::Stuff and the wiki parser could build the correct link for each user. Another idea would be to have the wiki server incorporate the VFP help as virtual wiki topics something like: _ Virtual VFP Help Topic - ?jMM

Another solution would be to upload the chm to ftp://stevenblack.com/foxwiki/Files/ and reference it there. Joe Kuhn

JMO, but I think that won't fly. It's a copyright issue. We have to link to local versions or to the MS website, I'd think.
