Scalable Vector Graphics

Namespace: WIN_COM_API
From W3C...
"SVG is a language for describing two-dimensional graphics and graphical applications in XML."

The beauty of this markup language is that it gives you Macromedia Flash like cabilities yet it's entirely XML.

Is anybody using SVG to create images or interactivity in IE or handheld devices?

Yes, I'm working with it. Mostly proof-of-concept stuff, but it shows great promise I think. An SVG doc in a web-browser control has almost limitless possibilities for VFP. I wrote a little inntroductory whitepaper on the subject (link below) the code-samples therin contain some interesting things like graphical navigation and spatial queries all done with VFP, SVG and a little javascript. In short: Cool Stuff! I'm wide open to working with people on this stuff and sharing what I've learned (read: very favorable rates {s}) - ?lc
