SET WINDOW OF MEMO TO < Window >
An old, old SET command, decremented even in some Foxpro DOS versions.
The idea: DEFINE and ACTIVATE a WINDOW. Use SET WINDOW OF MEMO to open the memo edit window in the DEFINEd window. Open a table, browse to a memo field. Double click or use, say, Ctrl+PgUp to open the memo field. A new window will open up over the ACTIVATEd window with that window's characteristics.
