User Interface Layer

Namespace: WIN_COM_API

In any good n-tier design, the user interface layer is typically one of the distinct ArchitecturalLayers. Others are the BehaviorLayer, the DataLayer, and possibly others.

A key to a proper modular and layered design is to segment your implementation into the correct layer.
I believe this is also called the Presentation Layer or at least that's what I have heard it called at Microsoft events.
Actually, in computer science, Presentation Layer has a very specific meaning related to network protocols and to use Presentation Layer to mean GUI is incorrect.-- Steven Black

The UI Layer is also called the View layer in the Model View Controller abstraction.
