There are two levels of security in Visual Extend. First you do have the assignment of security levels for various rights to forms, e.g. insert, edit, delete, print and suchlike with levels from 1 to 99, with -1 meaning not available at any means, as well as assignment of a user level 1 to 99 to each individual user.
Security using the extended system is based on the assignment of individual users to "groups", and the delegation of security access on a group by group basis. If a particular user belongs to two groups, one of which has access to a particular function while the other does not, the higher level of access trumps the lower one.
The interface mimics the NT User / Groups dialogs as well as adding a "mover" form for dragging and dropping users and groups.
See VFX-Homepage or VFX-Shop for more details.
