Value Type

Namespace: Wiki

A .Net type of variable that contains actual data.

Value Types cannot contain Null

Example:
In C# you create a variable in System.Int32 by declaring
int i = 32;

This allocates a 32-bit space on the stack. This can be manipulated directly and the act of assigning a value to i results in that 32-bit value being moved to the allocated space.
