Visual Extend (VFX for short) is a very good VFP Frame Work developed in Switzerland by Devigus Engineering. It has been taken over by d FPUG from Rainer Becker with 1st January 2003. Since then the framework was extended multiple times for now being one of the largest Rapid Application Development Frameworks for Visual FoxPro (based on features).

Free update version 7.1 for VFP 8.0 was made available as well as a new version 8.0. The version 9.0 of Visual Extend for Visual FoxPro 9.0 was released 26th January 2005. The version 9.5 of Visual Extend for Visual FoxPro 9.0 was released in February 2006 with quarterly updates in 2006 (see news tab of homepage). The current version of Visual Extend is 10.0, released mid 2007.

The Website supports English, German, Spanish and French. The Framework additionaly supports (including reportwriter): German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Bulgarian, Czech, Dutch, Russian, Finnish, Belgian, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, Estonian, Slovenian, User-defined, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Japanese.

Web page generation addon product Active Extend is available meanwhile and included into the framework to generate web applications for Active FoxPro Pages out of framework generated application with no questions asked.
